Te Pō Mārama - Matariki Glow Exhibition

27 Jun – 4 Jul

Te Pō Mārama is an immersive community art exhibition that celebrates Matariki through light, storytelling, and collective creativity from our classes

Te Pō Mārama is an immersive community art exhibition that celebrates Matariki through light, storytelling, and collective creativity from our NGĀ ART classes. Drawing inspiration from the stars of Matariki and the themes they represent—remembrance, reflection, environment, growth, and aspiration—this exhibition invites visitors to journey through spaces that honour our awa, our maunga, our moana and our skies.

Created by local artists, tamariki, rangatahi, and community members, Te Pō Mārama reflects the heartbeat of Ngāruawāhia—where whakapapa, place, and people come together to share stories, celebrate identity, and step into a new year guided by the light of Matariki.
