School Holiday Programme: Taonga Puuoro at the Museum

Learn about and play taonga puuoro with dedicated practitioner Koroheke Robb.

Make the most of the winter school holidays with this opportunity for your children learn about and play traditional Maaori instruments.

A dedicated practitioner and teacher of taonga puuoro, Koroheke Robb blends traditional Maaori instruments with healing practices and contemporary art forms in Kirikiriroa Hamilton. Koroheke finds great joy in teaching the next generation, particularly children, who approach learning with resilience and enthusiasm. This programme will blend fun, music, and Matariki stories for our tamariki.

Suitable for children aged 7 to 17 years. Please pack a lunch and water bottle for your child for this school holiday programme.
