By popular demand and with Kirikiriroa / Hamilton Zine Fest around the corner June 15th 2024. We have poet, writer and most importantly Zine magician Brittany Rose as our May Speaker.

May’s meeting will cover the 101 of Zine Making followed up by a practical workshop in which you can construct a zine around your writing.

With the rising cost of printing Zines are becoming an affordable way to get your work directly to your readers.

Brittany Rose is a creative project in progress. She dances, draws, writes, cuts and pastes and gardens. During the day, as an English teacher, she collects colour and feelings from the world around her and spews them onto the page once her toddler is in dreamland. Her writing is published in Mayhem Literary Journal, Poetry New Zealand, Aotearotica and Nexus Magazine.
