Calling All Young Filmmakers Under 17!

Are you under 17? Got a phone or a camera and a story to tell?
Then make a short film — by yourself or with other youth — and enter it in the Youth Section of the Misty Flicks Film Festival! Whether it’s funny, spooky, dramatic, or just plain weird, we want to see what you create!

📽️ What to do:
Make a short film — 1 to 10 minutes long (around 5 minutes is a great target!)
Open to kids in New Zealand with a Waikato or Central/Eastern North Island connection.

📅 Deadline:
31 July — get creative and make it happen!
(PG or G rated only, please!)

🌟 Why submit?
Your film could be shown on the big screen at the Regent Cinema this November as part of the Misty Flicks Film Festival!
🏆 Compete for trophies and prizes!
