Young Filmmakers Workshops for kids 10 to 12 in Hamilton, Ngaruawahia and Cambridge

Are your kids keen to learn about the filmmaking process, make a film and watch it on the big screen? Then this workshop is for them.

Who? For kids aged 10 to 12

What? Learn about filmmaking from professional filmmakers, make a short film, and watch your film at a red carpet premiere at the Regent Theatre in Te Awamutu.

How? 4 days: Two 2 hour sessions, and all day filming session and a red carpet premiere

Where? Ngāruawāhia workshop at the Ngāruawāhia Community House, Cambridge Workshop at the Gaslight Theatre and the Hamilton workshop at Trust Waikato. Filming locations will be along the Te Awa River Ride near the workshop venues.

When? The second half of January 2024
