Workshop: Planning an Astro Shoot

Ever thought about shooting the night sky but don’t know where to start? Learn from an Astronomy Photographer of the Year finalist!

Award-winning astrophotographer Mike White will share his knowledge and skills in this practical introductory workshop.

Among other accolades, Mike was named as a finalist in Royal Museums Greenwich’s Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, currently on display at Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery.

This workshop is focussed around photographing the night sky above the landscape, including wide views of the Milky Way. It’s aimed at an introductory level for those who’ve thought about shooting the night sky but don’t know where to start.

Attendance will be limited to 15 people.

Your ticket for this workshop includes entry to the exhibition Astronomy Photographer of the Year.
