Naam is a simple and effective healing practice that uses the power of the Word, combined with movement, rhythm and meditation. It taps into innate creative healing powers to nurture the wellbeing of the body’s physical, mental and subtle energy systems.

The workshop is led by artist Dorothy Waetford (Ngātiwai, Ngātihine, Ngāpuhi-nui-tonu), whose work features in our exhibition Toi is Rongoaa. Toi is Rongoaa celebrates fourteen contemporary Maaori artists who believe in the importance of creative practice to their wellbeing.
