New Zealand Chamber Soloists: Katherine Austin, Lara Hall, James Tennant and Dimitri Atanassov
The dream team returns. Our much-loved James Tennant and Katherine Austin are back on our stage. They will be joined by the extraordinary Lara Hall and their original chamber partner, outstanding violinist Dimitri Atanassov, to deliver us piano quartets including Brahm’s stunning C minor piano quartet, Mozart and a delightful work by New Zealander, Anthony Ritchie.

With internationally acclaimed artists, Sophie Sparrow, Jonathan Eyers, Guy Elliott and Jade Moffat, bringing these works to life, Eternal Romance: Songs from the Heart, promises an afternoon of unforgettable music.

Join renowned tenor André Heyboer, a regular performer at some of Europe’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Bastille Opera in Paris.
The programme includes a mix of well-known and lesser-known dramatic opera arias from France and her neighbours, covering three centuries of musical highlights and guaranteeing a full range of emotions: Handel (Samson), Gounod (Faust), Verdi (Don Carlos), Bizet (Carmen), Wagner (Tannhaüser), Puccini (Tosca) and more…
Andre will be accompanied by New Zealand-born organist and pianist Christopher Hainsworth, former Associate Professor of Music at Waikato University, who has made France his home for over 30 years. Christopher is known for his polished and entertaining performances on frequent visits to his Motherland. He will be playing Beethoven’s Variations on God Save the King, Martin Lodge’s Pastorale and an improvisation on themes suggested by the public!
