Melodious winds will waft through the wharenui.  For the first time at these much loved, Music on the Marae concerts, there will be a wind quintet with a program full of beautiful sounds from:   W. A. Mozart arr. Gunther Weigelt:  Divertimento Nr. 9 (KV 240), August Klughardt : Wind Quintet Op 79  (1898), Franz Danzi: Wind Quintet Op. 56 No. 1 (1821), Malcolm Arnold: Three Shanties for Wind Quintet.

Waikato Wind Ensemble: Catrin Wootton (flute), Anne Mendrun (oboe), Renee Kenyon (clarinet),  Murray Petrie (bassoon), Sergio Marshall (French horn).

This will be a Koha concert, so affordable for everyone.
