Four of our several children’s classes currently have a joint exhibition celebrating Matariki. The four children’s classes (Rhiannon’s Tuesday 10-14 year old class, Paulette’s Wednesday 8-12 year old class, Gemma’s Friday 8-12 year old class & Gemma’s Saturday 10-13 year old class), drew inspiration from many aspects of Matariki to create their artworks. From the stars, their names and meanings, to the foods traditionally eaten during Matariki celebrations and more. There is a stunning variety of art and clay scupltures on display in our upstairs Next Level Gallery.

Open 8.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 12.30pm on Saturdays (Saturday hours may vary from time to time).
