A poetic workshop with a wellbeing twist. This workshop led by poets Imé Corkery and Aimee-Jane Anderson-O’Connor will show you some poetic skills you can use to support your wellbeing. This workshop combines sound literary practice with mindfulness techniques. Come as you and let your creative animal free.

Author bios: 

Imé Corkery is a poet & chronic illness warrior. Imé is the author of Persephone’s Pancreas a creative non-fiction poetry anthology that examines chronic illness & mythology. Imé graduated with a Masters in Professional Writing from the University of Waikato. Imé believes in chronic illness advocacy through storytelling.

Aimee-Jane Anderson-O’Connor is a Waikato writer, collage maker and dabbler. She believes in the power of community, collaboration, and imagination. Aimee graduated with a PhD focused on Aotearoa Poetry, from the University of Waikato.
