This class focus on introducing students to processes that can be done both with and without a press: blending colour layers, monotype prints, single colour and reduction woodcut prints, and the formalities of labeling/signing work, framing and exhibition opportunities.

This introduction forms the basis for a second term of multi block printing and reduction printing, developing your own work from the processes explored. Many students carry on for several terms to further develop their printmaking skills. Materials provided for the 1st lesson, then your tutor will let you know what basic items you may need for the remainder of them term.

Tutored by the talented Renee Marjolein, students are encouraged to explore new ideas and learn through experimentation and discussion in a relaxed and friendly studio environment.
