Opening with a brilliant fanfare In the North by Martin Lodge, one of New Zealand’s top composers. Outstanding violinist, Amalia Hall will then wow with her interpretation of the beautifully romantic violin concerto by Tchaikovsky. Beethoven’s exquisite Pastoral Symphony evoking both the expression of feeling and the experience of being in nature will round out the programme.
