Te Ao Koorero Whakaahua is the launch of a new events series celebrating the world of visual storytelling and the diverse creative voices within our screen and performing arts communities. Hosted by BCMA Acting Agency and supported by Whare Te Ao, this event introduces attendees to who we are, what we do, and how we support emerging and established talent across the Waikato.

The evening provides an overview of BCMA’s kaupapa, including our talent representation services, industry training pathways, and our commitment to uplifting Māori and culturally diverse creatives in film, television, theatre, and digital media. Participants gain insight into how BCMA develops actors, nurtures storytellers, and builds professional pathways both on screen and behind the camera.

Alongside the introduction to BCMA, the event creates a valuable opportunity for networking and creative connection. Actors, filmmakers, theatre practitioners, directors, producers, playwrights, and screenwriters are invited to mix, mingle, and collaborate in a relaxed, supportive environment. The gathering encourages relationship‑building across disciplines, fostering a community where ideas can be shared, projects can be sparked, and new creative partnerships can emerge.
