Synaesthesia - FREE outdoors concert

Come and spend the last of the summer days at a FREE concert at Victoria on The River overlooking the gorgeous Waikato River. Bring a dinner picnic.
SYNAESTHESIA
Where music meets vision and poetry dances — a riverside journey blending music, art, and nature into one evening.
THE BANDS:
Paper Cranes 折り鶴
A sip of folky pop goodness—warm, beautiful, and balanced, with cherry and oak notes. Paper Cranes 折り鶴 crafts music that resonates deeply, weaving delicate stories into every note.
Paper Cranes have garnered significant acclaim from music critics in Aotearoa | New Zealand and have cultivated a dedicated following nationwide. The band draws inspiration from artists such as Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Johnny Flynn and Nick Drake, crafting a sound that feels like a treasure from another era.
Wildhorse
Life is a wild horse — a beautiful, unpredictable, and untameable force. Wildhorse is the creative outlet of songwriter Elliot Norton, emoting stories of life, love, and loss into a captivating musical experience. “Art should disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed” – Wildhorse music aims to do the later.
Elliot will be performing songs from his forth-coming debut album “Wildfires / Wildflowers”. A concept album that tells a story spanning the last decade of life. The sound is a melancholic dream of bitter sweet beauty – akin to artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Death Cab for Cutie, and Bon Iver.
Baltic Synthesis
The Baltic Sea holds many currents—shifting, deep, and endlessly connected. Baltic Synthesis merges beats, textures, and evocative poetry into a seamless synthesis of sound and vision.
