On All Hallows Eve, Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum and Gallery will be transformed into Hamilton’s most unexpected party venue. 

After Dark, the Museum will come alive with music, lights, crazy costumes, a licensed bar, food trucks, and plenty of Halloween fun for getting the squad back together to dance the night away.

Grab a pair of wireless headphones and pick your vibe. Switch between three different music channels and choose the songs and artists that make you boogie. Different faves to your mates? No worries! Sing along to nostalgic classics, dance to your favourite throwbacks, or discover a new anthem: everyone will create their own experience while sharing the same dance floor.

Designed for adults aged 18+, Silent Disco at the Museum: After Dark  will feature a full bar and food trucks for refuelling.
