Sew Into It - Kids Upcycling Workshop
Go Eco (Waikato Environment Centre) are hosting a series of events and workshops to Derail Consumerism.
The kids will be sew into it! Banish school holiday boredom, by bringing the kids to Go Eco for a low cost morning of fun.
They’ll learn new skills, an appreciation for using what you have around the house to make things, and be inspired to create gifts for friends and family.
We’ll show them how easy it is to make a toy for the cat, or a range of other fun projects to practice their new skills, including “how to kits”.
Caregivers, are required to stay with their children, and will be invited to join in!
About the host: Go Eco is the Waikato’s largest environment hub and is based in Frankton, Kirikiriroa. The Fashion Industry is the world’s 3rd largest polluter, and responsible for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions.
