“Self-Shifting” is an immersive journey celebrating the resilience of those who embrace cultural shifts, fostering an exploration of self-discovery.

It features the work of Luis Lopez who has used a blend of mixed media, watercolour, acrylics, markers, and spray cans to create portrayals of faded faces set amidst hypnotic, psychedelic backgrounds.

Through this exhibition, the artist aims to explore the profound concept of immigrant identity and its transformative journey, delving into the process of rebuilding, reshaping, and rebirthing oneself in a new cultural realm. The art invites viewers to witness the vivid experiences of immigrants as they navigate constant change and adapt to diverse scenarios within a fluid and psychedelic landscape.
