Come and join Louise for an exciting 3 hour workshop in the Japanese freestyle method of SAORI weaving. Saori freestyle weaving is a style of fiber-art whereby each weaver makes cloth from their heart. Each length of woven cloth is unique to the weaver. No counting, no matching, no rules, no mistakes! If a “mistake” is made it becomes “beauty with lack of intention”.

Louise is trained in Japan and has a Saori studio set up in Hamilton. She offers workshops anddemonstrations all around New Zealand and Louise is the sole SAORI distributor for New Zealand.
