Learn raranga skills with a roopuu of weavers. Experienced weavers also welcome.

Join us and learn raranga at Aratiatia Community Marae in Fairfield. We meet monthly led by our kaiako Meraania Heke Chase Perich and anyone looking for a weaving roopuu is welcome. You will learn how to harvest harakeke and start off making kete koha and kono.  If you already weave you are also welcome to join us for a day of weaving. There is no charge as we have the support of Creative Communities NZ, but you will need to register with us so we know how many to expect.
