Oct 24 – 26

The 16th Raglan Arts Weekend this October is set to impress with over 70 participating artists, plus installations, public art murals, demos & music.

Join us over Labour Weekend for the Raglan Arts Weekend 2026, our much-anticipated annual open studio art event.

The Raglan Arts Weekend (RAW), now in its 16th year, draws thousands of art aficionados from across the country who come to get a sneak peek into the creative process of Raglan’s local talent. Visit over 70 artists working in an exciting and diverse range of media  – styles and media keep evolving year to year and 2026 promises to delight with oil and UV painting, Japanese Gyotaku fish printing, 3D printing, stone sculpture, textiles, photography, designer jewellery, Not only that, visitors will be delighted by installations, public art murals, demos, workshops and of course music from RAW’s partner, the Raglan Country and Blues music festival.

RAW is a self-guided tour, where you can use our Raglan Arts Guide booklet and map, as well as our website to help you plot your own route. You can start your tour at the Old School Arts Centre where you pick up a brochure, see some of the artist studios, get a feel for the art from each studio, and plan the rest of your day or weekend. There will also be a Preview Exhibition and 300×300 show where you can pick up a limited artwork for a fraction of the original price.

We also have “The Hatch”, an emerging artists show including 17 up and coming Whaingaroa artists.
