A new musical at the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts

Princesses takes us on a journey into the minds and hearts of Kiwi women – who grew up with the fantasy of Disney. But the relationship is complex. Can they fit into the silhouette of the storybook heroines? Does Disney love them back? And what is a Princess anyway?

This is a devised musical, that uses montage to explore relationships between expectations and reality. It is 60 minutes long and does not have an interval.
