This workshop will cover how to package and present your works on paper unframed for display in print browsers and simple exhibition framing.

Join WSA tutor Renee Marjolein for 2 hours where you will learn to hinge an artwork onto foam board for unframed presentation, and how to frame an artwork suitably for exhibition including sealing the back and use of D rings.
We will not cover the cutting of custom mat boards.

Included in the workshop is foam boards, A4 sleeve, D rings and cord, the use of archival tapes and a suggested suppliers list.

Participants should bring: 

1x frame with suitable mat board to take 1 artwork – A3 size frame max.

2x artworks on paper: 1 smaller than A4 to be presented on foamboard in an A4 sleeve and 1 to suit their chosen frame.

Microfiber cloth

Scalpel if possible

Paper weight or similar

Medium/small sized Philips screwdriver

Self-healing cutting mat if possible

Table cloth/ single sheet
