Come and help us celebrate National Poetry Day on Friday 25 August by enjoying some poetry at Waikato Museum.

Curators will guide you through exhibitions Of This Place: Margot Philips’ Landscapes, Rita Angus: New Zealand Modernist | He Ringatoi Hou o Aotearoa and we’ll explore the National Contemporary Art Award.

Dadon Rowell will facilitate some poetry writing and invite people to share poems they’ve written based on the exhibitions.

This is a free event and registration is required. This event is in partnership with Waikato Museum with sponsorship from National Poetry Day.
