Join us at Poppies Books for the launch of the 2023 edition of Poetry Aotearoa Yearbook — after-burn.

Poetry Aotearoa is this country’s longest-running poetry magazine.

This issue — ‘afterburn’ — features 120 new poems by 111 poets, including Hana Pera Aoake, Cadence Chung, David Eggleton, Rebecca Hawkes, Wes Lee, Khadro Mohamed, Emma Neale, essa may ranapiri, Vaughan Rapatahana and Elizabeth Smither. It also includes essays and reviews of 29 new poetry books.

Join us for the launch of this packed issue #57 with readings by this year’s featured poet, Tyla Harry Bidois, as well as essa may ranapiri, Michael Steven, Dadon Rowell, Liam Hinton, Jessie Burnette, Evie Howell, Abigail Marshall, Mark Prisco and Imé Corkery.
