Poetic response to art with Aimee-Jane Anderson-O’Connor. July is our annual Poetry meeting & Poetry competition.

The July meeting will showcase the relationship of art & sculpture as a muse for writing. Local award–winning poet and past Poetry Aotearoa poet of the year Aimee-Jane Anderson-O’Connor will lead us through the practice of poetry as response also known as Ekphrastic poetry at Trust Waikato. Aimee-Jane‘s engaging workshops are suitable for established and beginner writers.

In the second half of the session  the winners of poetry competition will be announced.
Poetry competition is open to all and winners will win book vouchers & get a chance to read out their work at the July meeting.
