A chance for young photographers to get up close with nature using high quality photographic equipment.

As part of the holiday programme at Waitakaruru Arboretum we are privileged to welcome Tushar and D’Artangnan from IMAgEN8.  In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to work with Canon and Nikon dSLR cameras as they learn more about using a camera to capture that perfect shot.

IMAgEN8 is a charity based in Auckland.  Set up by Tushar, this organisation works to allow young people access to high quality photographic equipment in order to form a connection with nature through technology.  Tushar and D’Artagnan will work alongside participants as they examine features of the arboretum more closely.  Through the lens of a camera you start to notice the things in your environment that are happening all around you.

The opportunity to work with IMAgEN8 in the Waikato does not happen very often and the arboretum will be full of spring changes so don’t miss this wonderful opportunity.
