It’s Christmas 2009. The Ashford family home’s buckling at its seams—sagging roof, cracked septic tank. Mum’s got her head in the sand. Dad’s had a stroke. The three adult children, themselves plagued by stricken bodies & cash crises, raise the hard-issue of relocating their parents. 

Ten years later, the family struggles with calamitous loss, strangers appear at the door & long buried resentments dig their way to the surface.
