Out of Italy exhibition

14 Mar – 9 May

'Out of Italy ' reflects compositions from Elena Brambilla an Italian artist and Sandra Turner-Barlow who studied art in Italy and Europe.

“Out of Italy’ exhibits forty pieces that present a narrative of Italy that provides a series of insights and commentary that may provoke memories for those familiar with their own Italian travels or perhaps a vicarious journey for those unfamiliar with the country.

Elena Brambilla and Sandra Turner-Barlow have sought to compose Italian themes that are unmistakable illustrations of passion and ‘amore’.  We can see the magnificent majesty of centuries old buildings alongside artifacts of today. The old and the new, side by side, occupying the same spaces.

There are visions of religious awe together with examples of social and occupational life, fruits, fashion and Ferrari. Above all the artistic insights shared, this, is an exhibition that celebrates the passion all things Italian.
