Join me on this fun, inventive programme to learn how to draw. You don’t need to know anything about art! Beginners and practicing artists welcome.

Approach

This programme is skills based. 

• We begin with mark-making and look at basic drawing techniques such as cross-contour, planar structure, reductive drawing, linear volume, etc.
• We will consider the elements and their organising principles
• Formal instruction is interspersed with play: conceptual drawing,3D drawing, drawing with light and with the silhouette, stop motion, the painting sketch technique etc.

We’ll be covered in charcoal on one week, in clay the next. And our minds and skills will grow!
