Come Join us for our first Open Mic Poetry Night

Hello Poets, Slam Poets, Theatricals, and other Literary Artists join us for a night of exciting and mind-blowing poetry at the Hamilton Central Library. For anyone who took part in the Hamilton Regional Poetry Slam last year, this is the perfect opportunity to come up and share even more of your masterpieces. Also did I mention it’s FREE

Now you might be wondering, what is Open Mic Poetry Night, this is not a Poetry Slam, it is a night where we share our poetry for the sake of sharing poetry, what will happen is on the night whoever wants to participate will put their name on a sign-up sheet and will be called on to the stage to share their poetry, you are not obligated to sign up and come up on stage, you are welcome to bask in other people’s poetry simply, but if for some reason you feel inspired and want to give it ago their will be room at the end.

We hope to do these open mic nights every last Thursday of the month so don’t stress, there will be plenty of opportunities.
