Neighbourhood is a solo exhibition by Hannah Morgan Savage.

Hannah was born and raised in Kirikiriroa, her childhood spent cycling the river trails and making creative projects with other children in her block. Her studies at Otago University in environmental sciences plays an influential role in her art practice.

In Neighbourhood, Hannah reimagines photographs taken in a Melbourne suburb she lived in during 2022. She explores themes around heritage architecture, community and climate anxiety, while applying a critical lens on local-scale cultural transitions toward achieving a “clean and green” collective identity.
