Memoir Writing Workshop

13 Aug, 2022

Dame Fiona Kidman will take you on a practical journey through memoir writing with methods for appraising the form and hints on how to keep going.

The Memoir Writing Workshop takes participants through a brief journey into how to get started and, for those who have already begun, hints on how to keep going. Fiona will discuss methods of approaching the form and there will be time allowed for questions.

You are encouraged to have already considered writing in this form so you can ask helpful and specific questions.

The session will offer some short exercises, reading aloud optional.

The workshop costs $25 and includes morning tea. Registration required.

The Trust Waikato Building is on Little London Lane, off London Street, Hamilton. The Trust has a sizable carpark and there’s lots of parking outside and close by.
