Many Hands Make Light Work: a group exhibition proudly presented by the Morrinsville Gallery Volunteers
We invite you to come and enjoy an eclectic mixture of art presented by the Morrinsville Gallery volunteers
We invite you to come and enjoy an eclectic mixture of painting, sculpture, photography, fibre crafts, and more, all pulled together and presented in this diverse group exhibition presented by the Morrinsville Gallery volunteers. There will be artworks and artifacts that speak of our interests and memories, the intention is to create a greater connection within our group, to bring us all together and show each other (and the public), who we are, we are artists, daughters, sons, mothers or fathers, craftspeople, storytellers and above all helpers. This show is intended to further nurture relationships among the volunteers, with the public, and with the Gallery itself.
We also hope to raise the profile of volunteering at the gallery and elsewhere in Morrinsville and greater Waikato and to incite interest and curiosity from the public about the benefits of volunteering. We reflect on how volunteering enriches our own lives and those around us. Our children, neighbours, and friends in their enjoyment and engagement with the show could be inspired and feel motivated enough to offer a helping hand and share their skills somewhere in the community also.
