Lisa Ormsby is an established artist based in Ōtorohanga who specialises in acrylic and mixed media and meditates on forms in nature as her reference point.

Strokes are repeated, lined up, and layered and painterly tectonics arrange these textural layers to tilt, fold, or fault.

These marks can become close ups of streams, kete, piupiu, insect or fish scales, mountains, tree trunks, oceans, and well ordered libraries.
