An arts festival for people with a disability uncluding two show, wearable arts, music workshop and static arts display.

We host annually, an arts festival for people in the disability community. The Festival has become a place to showcase and celebrate the many and rich talents within this community.

This year, the 16th time the Festival will be held, will incorporate a static arts display, a wearable arts fashion show, song, dance, kapa haka, musical and dramatic performances, photograph slide shows, poetry readings and a music workshop.

The Launched Festival provides members of the disability community the unique opportunity to share and celebrate their abilities on a public and professional stage. They get an opportunity to increase their capabilities and capacities through media, art, and design. Needless to say there are very few opportunities like this, so the committee members all feel quite passionate about continuing to provide it.
