Late Victorian Church Music

Learn about, and sing some great sacred pieces from the Late Victorian era. Present a Free Recital for friends, family & students.

Called a ‘Musical Fun-Run’, attendees will learn about and sing some great sacred music from composers of the late Victorian era.

Michael Cox and Francis Cowan will introduce us to John Stainer; Frederick Ouseley; CV Stanford; John Varley Roberts; Joseph Barnby and John Henry Maunder.

Set in the lovely chapel of St Peter’s School, Cambridge and accompanied by Francis on the school’s superb organ, we will also enjoy a convivial afternoon tea before presenting a recital to friends and family.

Everyone is invited to join the workshop at 1pm on Saturday, May 25th and/or attend the recital at 4pm.

$20 for the workshop. Koha for the recital.
