    Choreographer, dancer, video artist and film-maker Louise Potiki Bryant will discuss the inspirations and creative processes behind her new video work

    Choreographer, dancer, video artist and film-maker Louise Potiki Bryant will discuss the inspirations and creative processes behind her new video work Ko wai ko au, ko au ko wai – I am the water and the water is me, which features in our exhibition Toi is Rongoaa.

    She will share insights into the connections between her dance, video and animation practices and how working with these art forms has been a healing journey for her.

    Attendance is free for this artist talk but please register online as numbers are limited.

    Toi is Rongoaa celebrates fourteen contemporary Maaori artists who believe in the importance of creative practice to their wellbeing. The invited artists have been supported by Creative New Zealand to make new work and share this essential kaupapa with our community.
