See two teams face off for the title of Face of Improv in Kirikiriroa!

In 2023’s edition of Improv Combat, four teams fought over six shows to prove Hamilton audiences that they were the top improvisers in the city. In the final, it was those led by Luke Hollows and Benny Marama who went face-to-face to earn that prestigious title.

One year later, Luke and Benny are at war once again, and (surprisingly) they both have friends backing them up. In Improv Combat: Face/Off, factions lead by Luke and Benny will face off across four weekly shows to decide once and for all who is the Face of Improv in Kirikiriroa. Each week will feature different guest judges, a different theme, and over an hour’s worth of never-before-seen improv comedy shaped by you, the audience. Hosting this month of witty warfare is comedian and professional loser Conor Maxwell.

Join us each Sunday from the 29th of September to the 20th of October as these improvisers are pushed to their limits to earn the favour (and laughter) of the adoring public. Remember; with improv comedy, each show and each scene within it will be uniquely driven by suggestions from the audience. The laughs are in your hands!
