How to Pitch and Write Long-Form Stories for Publication: Feature Writing Workshop
Come and try your hand at feature writing with ex Waikato Times editor Ventia Sherson.
Venetia Sherson will guide you through the process of feature writing including structure, tone, subject matter, sources and audience analysis. She will share ideas on how to pitch your story to a commissioning editor.
The workshop costs $30 and includes morning tea. Registration required via our website.
The Trust Waikato Building is on Little London Lane, off London Street, Hamilton. The Trust has a sizable carpark and there’s ample parking outside and close by.
