The 10th annual HARCOURTS ART CHALLENGE & Big Arts Day Out, featuring artists from around the region.

The 10th annual Harcourts ART Challenge and BIG ARTS DAY OUT featuring over 100 vibrant artists from around the region. Visit the display of sensational work from mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, harakeke, fabric art, pottery and the new creative writing category. With the new theme to celebrate this unique event, the Challenge always attracts a diverse mix of emerging and established creatives. From captivating painting and thought-provoking sculptures to edgy contemporary installations, audiences can expect a feast for the senses at this inspiring showcase. All artwork will be on display and for sale on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th January 10am to 4pm.

Tickets for the Awards evening on Friday 23rd January 5pm to 8pm, are available from Discover Whangamata. This is a social event to celebrate and meet the artists.
