    Craft Drop-In 10am to 12pm

    Make your own balancing butterfly in this science-themed crafting activity for the whole family.

    Science Stalls 10.30am to 3.30pm

    The Kudos Science Trust is all about igniting curiosity and creative thinking in the next generation of problem-solvers. They are pleased to bring a variety of science activities and interactive stalls to Waikato Museum for Children’s Day, supported by their scientists.

    River Songs 11am to 11.30am and 12pm to 12.30pm

    Enjoy a 30-minute musical journey with Opus Pocket Orchestra, featuring soloist Allison Harker and a selection of songs inspired by the beauty of te awa o Waikato. This family-friendly set promises to enchant audiences of all ages, blending classical melodies from Beethoven with beloved tunes like Row, Row, Row Your Boat.

    Origami Drop-In 1pm to 3pm

    Come by and learn how to make your own science-themed origami to take home! With support from the Waikato Japanese Community Trust.
