Form & Whenua by Rototuna Junior High School

FORM focuses on architectural precision, juxtaposing the rigidity and structure of modern and classical architecture with intaglio printing, which utiises recycled materials. This meeting of ‘materials’ and environmentally conscious ‘mission’ produces intriguing results, representing both solid and organic models within the artworks.

WHENUA is our land, the link that binds together generations of our stories, patterns, memories and dreams. Within the structure of geographic forms, there is a whirl of movement, passion, heritage and pride – the impact of the whenua’s guardianship over all those she holds is evidenced throughout these celebratory artworks.

We hope you enjoy our show!
