Flash Fiction Lab

A free writing workshop and reading for writers of all experience levels. Focused on Flash Fiction, in celebration of National Flash Fiction Day.
Take a shot at flash this June. Kirikiriroa plays host to the first ever flash lab at the Hamilton Central Library from 12:30-3pm. The lab hosted by Imé Corkery and Aimee-Jane Anderson-O’Connor in collaboration with Tracey Slaughter brings the public face to face with talented local flash fictionaineers in twenty minute workshops. Each speed workshop will get you to hone your writer instincts. Workshops will be followed by an open mic reading of attendees’ flash fiction and the announcement of the national competition winners by award winning flash writer Dadon Rowell.
