Free screening of international short films.

In partnership with BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, the British Council celebrates global stories every year in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual people across the world.

This year Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery is proudly joining the international festival by offering free screenings of the selected films, from a heartfelt documentary capturing the highs and lows of a pioneering trans football team, to the antics of a mischievous neighbourhood fox voiced by Sir Ian McKellen.
