These school holidays, join a creative puppetry workshop with Ifat Vanyer and learn how to make finger puppets.

Did you ever meet the Museum night creatures? They are cheeky and sneaky and you’ll have to catch them fast or they’ll come out when you sleep and make a huge mess! Make your own finger puppet to take for a walk around the Museum or to put on a show at home!

Suitable for ages 6 to 12 years.

About Ifat Vayner

A puppeteer and creator, Ifat has blended puppetry, dance, and physical theatre in surprising and delightful ways for the past 12 years. She was born in Israel and moved to New Zealand three years ago, with her husband and two children.

Spending nine years at the ‘Israeli Puppetry Centre,’ Ifat has developed educational programs and courses for various communities and age groups. In addition to teaching and performing, she has designed many puppets for shows and educational programs, including her own puppetry shows.
