This is a beginners drama class for seniors who are 60+ years. Who would like to try something new.

This is a programme that has been running for 4 years at Riverlea Theatre and is specifically tailored to let people have a taste of acting and drama, while meeting others and learning in a relaxed, fun and encouraging environment.    

The Programme consists of eight sessions, covering acting, characterization, using scripts, improvisation, to name a few. As it is in an active theatre we also touch on other aspects of staging plays. 

 It is taken by Jane Barnett, a successful director of many shows/plays and a fully qualified tutor with a sense of humour! Her most recent direction being “Calendar Girls” and “Oklahoma!”
