Artists come together in Fundraiser Art Show for Alister Agan Selliman at Framing House

Artists who share love and respect for well-known local artist Alister Agan Selliman, have come together to raise funds to cover Ali’s expenses this year as he undergoes cancer treatment in Borneo.

The exhibition will include works from an impressive lineup of artists including FLOX, Dave Chami, Te Marunui Hotene, Ahsin Ahsin, Alice Alva, Kemi & Niko, Emiko Sheehan, Brya Rose, and so many more.

A particularly special contribution comes from David Lloyd, who has donated four original paintings created by Ali in 2010 as part of The Underwater Collective. Three of these works will be sold via silent auction, while a fourth smaller piece will be raffled.

This exhibition aims to ease the financial strain on Ali as he faces treatment overseas—allowing him to focus on recovery. 

This is more than an art show—it’s a celebration of a beloved person who has given so much to others, and it’s a chance for Hamilton to give back.
