"Creativity Lives in Waikato" Exhibition

Dec 2 – 22

Shining a spotlight on leading examples of the diverse range of artists and creatives in our region.

Creativity Lives in Waikato

Waikato is a vibrant hub of creativity and cultural richness. Through the Creativity Lives in Waikato campaign, we look to shine a spotlight on leading examples of the diverse range of artists and creatives in our region.

The exhibition is a celebration of this diversity and features 41 artists and creatives representing all 10 districts within the Waikato:

  • Hamilton City
  • Hauraki
  • Matamata-Piako
  • Ōtorohanga
  • Ruapehu
  • South Waikato
  • Thames-Coromandel
  • Waikato
  • Waipā
  • Waitomo

Each of the featured artists bring a unique perspective to their chosen creative field along with an important message about the benefits that engaging with creativity can bring to everyday life.

Our goal with this collection, and through future iterations, is to inspire our communities to recognise and celebrate Waikato as a creative haven, a place where arts and culture thrive.

Creative Waikato is proud to present you with Creativity Lives in Waikato.
