Join us at the Kukutaaruhe Gully in Fairfield for a morning of nature activities and learning.

The Fairfield Project is restoring native forest in the Kukutaaruhe Gully.  Join us to see what we’ve been doing, learn about the native species in the stream, visit the community gardens and learn maramakata (planting by the moon cycle) and composting techniques. Other activities include sensory soundscapes, botanical mosaics, make a nest and learn about birds, maatauranga Maaori practices, pest trapping workshops, tours of the native forest in the gully.
